Mr. Local Search is Announced

The Mr. Local Search of America has been announced. Josh McCoy took the honors as he beat out 75 other gentlemen. McCoy announced that he would take the title and honor as a beacon for local search. “There is no other man that has ever attained this,” acclaimed McCoy. The new Mr. Local Search was covered in rose petals and adorance as he claimed his honor. It is unknown yet what platform Mr. Local Search will create to better America. Napkin pirates,  for those of you who watched the Kansas/Davidson game tonight, you received a royal treat. It has been a long time since I have seen a game that intense. Defense of both sides was that of a napkin pirates invasion. The Napkin Pirates Player of the game was Mario Chalmers who rang three point shots without hesitation. His first half points were the key element of what kept Kansas in the game. Napkin pirates as well as everyone should stay tuned as further sports coverage is sure to follow. Napkin Pirates, great news, the Kansas Jayhawks have advanced past the first round with a win over Portland State. Kansas Basketball is the official college basketball team of the Napkin Pirates. Other teams who have won so far today include Xavier and Michigan State. At the moment, the official Napkin Pirates scoreboard shows Pitt, Marquette, UNLV, and Purdue winning over their opponents. Napkin Pirates, I know it has been a week since I provided a fun fact so here you go!  The word “buccaneer” comes from boucan, meat prepared in a manner similar to modern barbeque.  Pirates were in the habit of going onto Hispaniola and other islands, killing semi-wild cattle and boars and cooking the meat over an open flame. They often used the meat to barter with ships seeking provisions.

Napkin Pirates, I wanted to make sure that everyone knew we now have an official Napkin Pirates lens on Squidoo. While this site is the official home of all pirate news, our napkin pirates squidoo lens allows all you pirates another outlet for news and current activities online. Currently, our lens provides pirate accessories for sale on Amazon, current blog posts around the internet that relate to napkin pirates and a collection of Flickr photos pertaining to pirates.  I noticed that another napkin pirate, J. “Jimmy Snacks” Barrett out of KC, has created another lens for us, thanks Jimmy for helping to spread our message.

To all napkin pirates, I hope everyone had a chance to watch the great pirate programming yesterday on the History Channel. My favorite show was The True Pirates of the Caribbean, this was followed by a show about modern day pirates, both are napkin pirate “must-see’s”.
